Uploader Mosaics

Post by KillerPM »

I know a number of you use the uploader I created.

Every couple of months, I make a backup of the web site just in case the company folds or some other un-forseen circumstances happen.

Anyway, what this has resulted in is me having a 6gb folder with around 18000 photos of E28s, fancy looking headers, dyno graphs, technical drawings, part photos and project photos.

Yesterday when I was cleaning out the crap that probably shouldn't have ever been uploaded, I was thinking, "what should I do with all these photos?". The answer, a big photo mosaic!

Here is my first go at it!

The white parts are full of dyno graphs :)

So I am making a call to you all! What other photos would you like to be turned into an awesome mosaic that is powered by all your uploads?

Submit photos here and I will do them up when I get home from work tonight. They take a while to process so if there is a huge overwhelming demand, I will have to be selective.

As well, I saw a doggie and a number of bicycles in the mosaic.

Thanks!

I am not out to make any money, so if you want a shirt or something made feel free to go ahead and do so.

I don't know about copyright or anything because the one image (which I don't own the rights to) is made up of many smaller images (which I also don't own the rights to, haha)

Very nice Peter! Any chance you can create one of those covert "MagicEye" 3D images from the late 1990s that drove people crazy when their visual cortex could not render it no matter how long they stared at it?

This would make a good one if you can find it in a higher resolution:

Example "Magic Eye" 3D image of a bird...and for the e24 guys, the one below it is a shark:
