Origianl Search???

Post by Iamjunior »

Well, I tried to search for "E30 seat adapters" and I keep getting an internal error message. So, I tried searching for something else like tires or steering wheels but still get that error? Maybe my computer is trippin? Is this happening to anyone else? I guess I'll just google the info i need for now. But, if anyone is wondering why I am looking up E30 seat adapters... A buddy of mine has super clean seats in his e30 and is going to give them to me for free and I know they will fit i just need adapters...

But, aside from that... Whats up with the "SEARCH"!!??!?

Works fine for me, but the forum has been a bit flaky the last couple of days.

Using google, search for site:mye28.com ___________. Most likely its a site error, I cant see an internal error in your system preventing you from using the search feature.

I've been getting occasional internal server errors from MyE28.com over the past couple of weeks. Hasn't happened more than twice in row though.

Which is pretty much exactly the same as using the "Custom Google Search" that's at the top of our Search page. Both the internal phpBB search and the Google search seem to be working. The phpBB search is (and has always been) slow to return results though.

What sort of errors? Database errors? 404 Page Not Found errors? Something else entirely errors?

Next time it happens I'll write it down. Seemed to happen when posting, mostly. Also, there have been times when the forum was down in the last couple of days. It seems to be kinda slow intermittently as well.

I haven't seen any errors, but lots of sloooooowwwww responses to clicks navigating to threads or other pages. Just now I clicked on this thread, waited, waited, waited, opened another tab, opened Facebook, read a few posts there, came back and this thread was just opening. Less than a minute, but... Annoying.

I've gotten a few "internal server errors" but I'm pretty hard on websites, so that's fine.

I agree... It's all gravity though. It seems to be working just fine today!
