What material are the studs made from? Studs like that with cut threads are not as strong as studs with rolled threads.

studs are made from 12.9 bolts... by local bolt shop
i know that cut thread is weaker but that is quite minor problem

Again little progress with boostpipes

Almost all boost pipes where made from scrap metal pipes etc...
needs only little bit grinding and paint...

Sweet project man. I did something similar with a sequential turbo homeade jet engine. One thing I did different though is I had my small turbo forcing air into the big one instead of relying on vacuum, then an actuator opened once the big guy was boosting. I changed to this because I was getting a pressure lull when the big turbo was kicking in, because its still pushing air through the small one as well as to the motor. I don't have any pictures but if you're interest at all I can draw up a quick diagram of how mine went.
