Build threads go where?

Post by Coldswede »

Is it preferred to start build threads in Eye Candy or the FI section (it is a FI build)? It will have pictures.

Tech, unless your "build" is constrained purely to cosmetic changes, then Eye Candy.

Is there something non-obvious about any of that? :dunno:

It all seems pretty straightforward to me.

No.

I guess I always felt like eye candy just meant a lot of pictures.
I don't really feel like my car has been about "purely cosmetic changes"; I put it in Eye Candy because there will be a lot of pics.

I guess if it's all pics, it could go in Eye Candy, but if there's information about the build and what methods you employed to accomplish your mechanical goals, it really should go in Tech IMHO.

No argument from me.

Just never really thought about it.

I just put everything in eye candy. If I were to put an S38B36 into an E34 touring and had GIANT photos, I'd put it in Eye Candy too, but I guess I'm different.
