Santa fell off the roof and broke his leg. Then he was shot.

They told me the same thing about yours.

I may have broken the rules a bit, but I couldn't get it all to fit in a medium box, so you got the large one. The filth in that box isn't the same as the filth in the box Ali sent- don't open up the bags on a clean carpet, cause I didn't clean any of those used parts.

I just remembered I got a "Click-N-Ship® Payment Confirmation" when I sent off my package on the 18th, and it had a delivery confirmation number on it. I guess a delivery confirmation is just that; it shows that the package was accepted & processed at the Sioux Falls facility, then departed the Sioux Falls facility, and... nothing. Maybe it'll be updated when the package is delivered. I just hope they didn't decide to inspect the contents to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules.

Damn. Another sad, sad Christmas. At least it's not like the Christmas I spent in Peebles, Ohio in 1994.

I think oldskool will need a new avatar after this...

Another terrible, horrible, no-good, very-bad day... But it would probably be raining in Australia.
But please, do tell us about Peebles, OH. I love a good story; the longer & sadder the better.

;)

I got mine yesterday from Adam (ldsbeaker), and I opened it! Actually, I thought long and hard (like my johnson) about opening it in front of the kids, particularly given some of the "O" face artwork on the O-utside of the box. :D After some thought, and given who the sender was, I figured that I was probably pretty safe in opening in mixed company. So I slit that box asunder!

Nice little box of Christmas Cheer! A spare foam insert for a toolkit, Maximillian parts hat, Hot Wheels 2002 (NIB!), full set teeny/eyeglass screwdrivers, a big ol' NYT Crossword puzzle book, a sofa cover, some breathe-right strips, earplugs, sofa cover, sandpaper, a very timely Pinewood derby kit (so no fear if I butcher Rory's block this year!), a Book of Mormon (also timely, as I've been revisiting some things Christian and will step into this when I finish the Jefferson Bible I'm currently reading), and a Gunnery Sergeant lapel pin.

Thanks Adam!!!

Image

The cat liked the pile enough that he jumped in and was guarding the loot right away. Unfortunately he did not prove to be enough of a guard, and one of the boys grabbed the lapel pin for his insignia collection as soon as I turned my back!

Image

Also last night I received my annual Christmas Ornament from my youngest. This year it is a snowman. There is probably nothing better. His other Christmas-related artwork this year was a Pirate Santa holding a bottle, exclaiming "HO, HO, HO and a bottle of rum!" Yeah, he's going places!

Merry Chrismas everyone. Hold them close.

It'll only show new info when it is processed into the next sort facility, and they don't all update their info during the day. Some only do so at the end of the day. After that it will update when the package is delivered. All the updates sometimes come at the same time in the evening, so it may very well land at the sort facility, get processed, get sent out for delivery, and get delivered on the same day and you won't know till that night.

4 epic things. Bottle of Chard, Bottle of Merlot, Belles cream stout, and a big fat bottle of Guinness.

A very happy Xmas indeed

I have to give the U.S.P.S. credit. I'm surprised you didn't get a soggy box of broken glass.
