I wasn’t expecting to see this thread once again séance you guys have already expressed as many kind comments as I could remember and see on this thread, greatly appreciated for your recognition!!! :D

Oldskool, David and other good guys (I’m not sure about Oldskool, he is a bad boy ;) ), thank you Gentlemen.

ACHTUNG, the spec. of springs is on its way (PMed)

Few more official and my favorite pictures from BMW Performance Magazine!

BTW, has anyone noticed the Red Button on the dash (beside the stereo)? It’s the same M sport button as its located on e46 M3 steering wheel which was integrated in here as well (we call it Go Fast Button), that changes the ECU map on the fly so by activating it the engine will act supper responsive and aggressive. Its fun to let it go on the High Way but not as mush on street driving.

(But not bad for 325,000 miles.)

Well .. . yes. That's my bad. I looked at the last page of the thread, and saw what I though was a post of a motorbike and also a very clean engine. With the the thread title "E28 Porn" under photos, I assumed it was a submit your photo thread. My deepest apologizes. I see now the bike is a sig. HA Funny, I thought I was bring the thread BACK, not hijacking it.Sloppy on my part.

Sorry. I'll crawl back into my garage now.

I saw this car in person last year at Vintage with many others and I tell you... it has to be the best looking e28 I have ever seen, and is certainly a favorite. Maybe my ultimate favorite e28!

Sia I hope to be able to sit in the car if not ride in it this year buddy!

The stock euro look combined with the modern powertrain is, IMO, perfect.

In sport mode, the throttle response of Sia's car is certainly more aggressive but at the same time I find it very functional.

The 3.73 diff really ties in nicely with the S54 which pulls smoothly at low rpm even in high gear and the top end rush of the little monster is very impressive.

FYI, not the first one, but rather at the same time, as I recall. Yes your friend finished first but mine took few weeks longer just because I wanted every thing to look and feel as stock. ;)

Just for Fun, ask your talented friend if he was able to get the double Vanos activated and working with the original ECU as it should be or just deleted for connivance and or using some other after market programming , so the S54 is not only acting as a modern M30 lump? which would be a shame.

The polite and nice way to share your friends car would be to create a thread for him, if you know what I mean.

I like to think I have owned a few notable E28's, so I don't say this lightly --- this may be the most desirable e28 build I have ever seen. I look forward to a ride one of these days.

He did. In March. You came in and posted a link to this thread, doing pretty much what you're talking about here. You never even commented on the car.

First of all Chris, he has voice to raise himself if he wanted to know anything here and no need for speaks man.
Secondly, he posted on general conversation thread for people to join a site, and he talked about his friend’s car. So nor the car is his or the thread is about the car specifically.
Finally, if you like to turn this in to a battle, then that is a different story Chris.

Also FYI, you never mentioned of my comment on the original build thread.

I second what "wkohler" said.

B7, here is something you should know about me. I am a car guy period. Not a BMW guy, not a VW guy, not a Mini guy, a car guy. The link to 3rdrevolution showed all of my cars, with the nicest being the e28 M5 which I thought this community would appreciate.

Yes, you did come along and jack the thread with your porn post. Now the info is there for all to see, enough said.

Look who’s talking, fortunately it is what it is and no one ask for your opinion, if you don’t have anything positive to contribute, than better say nothing, trust me it will suit you better Adam. Also I can tell your were dying to get that out of your system, and I am glad you did, thanks for coming out.

Mark are you a sentient human being, or a 2nd mye28 board handle that Sia uses to reaffirm his points? Either way you contribute nothing of value.

Sure I'm jealous, you have great taste in cars, who wouldn't wish they were in their garage? Notice: I stroked your ego, because when it's already at the maximum, it shouldn't matter.
