September 1st is labor day. Which is a holiday for many. The tour starts on the morning of the 2nd in eldorado ak.. With drives on the 3rd and 4th around eureka springs. You will drive home on the 5th. I think your cold or flu will last the whole week!

I know ya'll are focused on Vintage, but I can't be bothered with that now. We can't let a sticky thread sit dormant for 3 weeks.

I am so glad to see that RoTT is still alive and well. Kudos my friends...
 :haul:
I last participated in 2011 and it was one of the best driving adventures I have ever been on, to date. Have fun boys...I MUST find a way to do this again in the near future. Now that I work for the fed, it is not as easy to just hang-up the "gone drivin'" sign at the office. Ugh...

I had camped my travel-trailer in Berryville a couple weeks ago and toured Highway 62 thru Eureka Springs and the surrounding area wishin' I had my Bimmer...
I did get to do some feral hog hunting up towards Bull Shoals and collected a few ticks in my beard along the way too.

Should be closer for all the TX boys as well.

Its a LONG drive from Ontario though... 16-18 hours... That's going to be a 2 day trip...
If I were to take my 535is to 4-corners it would be a 23 hr 59 min drive from central GA. Thats WITH perfect traffic, fast ass fuel stops, no mech errors, no getting pulled over and NON STOP. Nope.

You have successfully defined 'Swoop'.

...and gentlemen, I think I'm going to bow out this year. :( I have to swoop for other reasons as soon as I get home and just plain won't have the time or cash to go gallavanting across MOST of the US for RTT this year. I'll be building an RTT machine to be unveiled at next year's event. I will be anxious to know how this event goes without the prelude event.

I'm in for one day at least. No excuse for me not to show- I live 45 minutes from Eureka Springs.
