Wasn't planning on it, but I could. It's not a tiny project like the e28 though.

Well I would love watching it progress. I liked what I saw when I was there and your work inspires me.

It would be cool to see progress without doing any of the work... I mean, thanks!

I'd like to see those on Samson. With the euro bumpers, I bet it'd look cool.

In my spare time over the last week I have been giving my interior a slight facelift...

I started by taking out the ac console and ac unit, then I took both my ac and non ac consoles apart. I removed the carpet from the original and transferred it to the non ac console, then I scotch brited all of the pieces and painted them. I made a custom aluminum tray to contain all of the stereo and heater wiring so there is a nice compartment below for random storage.

At the same time I added a new head unit and upgraded the car to component speakers, was a pretty fiddly job but happy with the results. I still need to finish my kick panel pods and other small details..

I also replaced every light so everything works great now. :D

I ordered a new leather shift boot and knob too.

I do love this car, Seeing it for what it is and what it came from is really amazing. When riding or driving in the car you forget you are in a 30 year old sedan. This car is a masterpiece. It is not a show car by any means, but it is an honest car. A car that is made to drive... Hard, Very hard and never misses a beat. What else do you expect from a parts car?

i, too, was impressed by the car. it handles amazingly well. kind of scared me - wasn't aware a 90 degree corner could be taken so fast.
