Keep an eye out in the parts section for my part-out post...

There goes my dreams of being a grown up. Honda found a new home, back to driving a bmw again. That lasted almost two days.

Those were/are great cars. Had an 82 4-door. An original Civic is on my short list.

Hey guys,

I new to mye28, but I just read this ENTIRE post! Wow! Talk about a lot of work! I just bought an 88 535is, and it seems like they're a little slim in PDX, or is that just me?? Do ya'll ever get together for drives or anything? I kinda got out of the car groups scene when I moved from San Diego, back to Portland, but I'm always down to meet up and talk shop!

Morgan.

PS: Awesome car!

Thanks, there are actually tons of e28's in the Portland area.... We have random small meets at the Se Lucky Lab brew pub. We had the first one in a long time last night. 10-12 people showed up.

I'm getting ready to install my new Ground control touring camber plates and new rear window motor since it randomly stopped working last Saturday. Also time to take off my summer wheels and install my winter summer wheels.

Window motor replaced and working perfect, also removed the door brake that was hanging up... Cleaned it all up, re-greased it and reinstalled it. This door shuts amazing and is quiet as can be :D I also replaced the last bad lock actuator in the other rear door, now everything works and works well. It's almost a nice car now.

I didn't get the new camber plates in but made decent progress.

New camber plates are in and perform well. Put the style 9's back on too. I need to build a cheap shitty exhaust to get it threw emissions this month

Awesome work!
I just read the whole thread, I love the gradual transformation of the car.
The euro bumpers and custom lip especially.

What did you do to your tail lights? Just the Mr FixIt kit or custom LEDs?
Thanks

The taillights are basically the same as the Mr. Fixit except I made my own kit since I already had all the stuff to do it.

Thanks,
Brent

1991 called, they want their wheels back.

Installed last night, haven't moved it yet so the suspension hasn't settled.
