Also, right after I got home from the post office, I realized I forgot to shove a handful more things into the box, including the other Lem bushing. That has been bugging me since before I left for my trip. To make it up to you, I'll give you the big brake kit from my M5 the next time I see you. Pretty sure it's 850i single piston front calipers and non-vented E34/E32 rears, I'll have to re-check the part numbers. Just lemme know if I need to bring them to the Vintage, Tedfest, Texfest or wherever else I'm going to be.
Sweet! I have been thinking about some more bigger stopping.
Vintage should be next on the schedule, unless you want to make another road trip out for St Paddy's Day in Sandie Huevo. Bring Rodney and David. You should all be comfortable in a seven series cruiser :pimp:
I really, REALLY want to hit St. Paddy's day, but that's the one event I just can't manage to line up with my schedule. Vintage should be the ticket.

Seriously, me too. Had I known it would take this long I would have included a salmon in the box to demand attention
ditto! I am convinced they didn't like what I sent
I just went back through this thread and realized my recipient is MIA too. :?

ME to, but I was a bad person and sent it out late.

I got mine from South26, had some great stuff and a nice copy of Twilight for my DVD collection. Already the Super Glue came in handy, can't get the remote helicopter to work though   :D

Now that 2016 is here I finally got around to opening my gift from Miller. (My apologies to Miller, I do not know who you are, and I opened the package very late.)
Image

Package included:
Limited edition Roundel magazines from his collection (no doubt very hard to part with)
bulb and fuse holder filled with intact bulbs and fuses
door handle surround (no broken tabs)
ash tray (or place to hide secrets)
sealed beam headlight
fader switch

Thanks to everyone involved and Happy New Year!

I have always thought posting the "What you got" post as a link to a for sale ad would be funny, but I guess I was not feeling that funny today, just funny enough to write about it.

It's all in good spirit. Learning from this year I wish I had sent much more to you 'msj'. Especially after seeing the fun spirited generosity from everyone else. Happy Holidays to you all.

So it looks like there are still 12, maybe 13 boxes unopened?
I'd list the contents of my box but I already forgot what I sent. I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything lethal in it, so if my recipient can't post due to being incapacitated, I don't think it's because of me.
I think the moral here is to make sure you take a picture of the contents before you mail it.

My Box contained lipstick, (my fav color), lockable BMW valve stem caps, a bag to grow super-hot peppers, nice unused condom, a throttle handle and mini stun gun I had sent out years ago in another PBE that I'm glad to have back, brake pad sensor, a new washer bottle cap, Pinocchio cd, Vintage '15 poster, a huge piece of coal and some lockable clamps. Very stoked and have already put many items to use. Thanks Ahab!!

My box came with lots of cool and interesting stuff. None of which were narcotics as I predicted.
-A Moe's Broadway Bagels bag that says only the best get baked.
-License plate frame saying build race party
-Ron white stand up comedy DVD
-A pair of lights that I'm anxious to use
-Limited Edition Captain Morgan beads
-A bmw spa towel
-An orca pouch that contains a gold starter kit
-A pair of high performance work gloves
-A portable water pouch
-A head mounting flashlight
-A toothbrush
-Quite a few stickers
Some fruit snacks that I enjoyed while sifting through my box
-Fresh Wave air fresher
-x5 glasses and keychain
-Two pairs of latex gloves
- Dashboard cleaner
-Small cup from BBQ and beer fest
-4 Zip ties
-A key chain that also contains a small razor
-Mercedes Key ( I only assume I'm supposed to go pick up the car.)
-A new Bmw rounded
-A pair of uca bushings
-A cool insulated cup
-An Iowa cubs vs Colorado Spring Sox baseball ticket
-5 Dollars in play money
-Some seeds
-A stay warm adhesive toe warmer.
-A map of downtown Denver, Colorado.
-And a lock to which I have no idea what the combination is.

Lots of great and useful stuff.
Thanks for all the great stuff Travis. I'll be sure to let you know when I plan to stop by and pick up the Benz!

As of right now there are 10, but two have good excuses due to my faux pas, so that makes 8. I have been keeping track, and have PM'd the Late Eight with a reminder, so hopefully we won't have to resort to public shaming. ;)

I guess whoever heads this up next year ( :D ) ought to modify the steps in the opening post to include showing the haul to make it an official part of the programme. Seeing what everyone got is the third best part of this whole deal!

If any of those knuckleheads want,
since I was a knucklehead and didn't get in this year,
send your boxes my way,
I'll open immediately and share the contents,
via pics. ;)

That should make all these PBE knucklehead police :D .

PM for address.

That is the gift that keeps on giving (at least until you figure out the combo).
I will give you a hint: It only contains two different numbers. Good Luck!

Leadphut and TCD,

I am finally back from vacation and have your PBEs (which were accidentally sent to me), all in one place and ready to go. I will drop them off at the USPS today.

Sorry for the delay, but the family and I were on an epic RV trip over the holidays. Spent yesterday responding to 250 emails and 75 voicemails.

Late getting to post it, I miss the uploader. Here is my box from TCD, I have already used a bit of the hardware on a couple projects. It will be a while before I get all 40+ pounds used!

Just because no one commented doesn't mean they weren't noticed. ;)

Damn, that was quick. Next time try a lock recommended for ages 8+. Not that someone is going to figure out the combo quick enough to steal a bike, but that combo seems rather simple with only four digits consisting of two different numbers. Good job though. I don't think I have that kind of perseverance

I saw a video on how to "crack" one of those locks quickly. I don't have first hand experience but it looks like it can be done very easily..

Well now that it's been a month since the the official "Open your box day", I think it's safe to say we'll probably never know the contents of the boxes of the over one third of the participants that flaked.
I'm not even sure who to scold because I don't know who ended up with my box.

Thanks a ton Micah, you're a boss, and I'm actually gonna use most of this stuff.

From upper left:
Haggerty Bag
Skull/crossbones valve stem caps
Sonic Temple, Slade, and Anthrax tapes (mixed by the factory)
Caffeinated chocolate pudding. (fuck yeah)
Furnature sliders
Safety squints/safety quiets
Safety flavor fruit roll-up
Un-Divot tool,
ultra rare S38 pliars
3prong to 2 prong thing
electrical blockoff plate.
Who needs a red cap when you can have a late model cap with EXTRA PINS!
Bungee strings
STICKERS
80C M30 thermostat (will probably come in handy for the turbo engine)
San Bernadino County Marshall patch with jigsaw pieces?
Hotwheels E36 M3
Sandy-Eggo Comic-con shirt in a slightly smaller size than my fat fits into, so a good motivation to lose weight.
