NOOB 1986 528e

Post by Zadok »

Hey everyone. Just joined the community with my very first BMW last Friday. It’s an oldie but I think it’s going to be a great project car. High miles (300k+) but well taken care of, runs great, 98% rust free and was cheap. I’m excited to getting started and enjoying the journey.

Cheers,

Welcome to the group! 300K is no big deal.

As many will likely remind you, on an eta, (528e) change the timing belt if the odo isn't working or if it's overdue. The engine will last a very long time, but not with bent valves.

Welcome! And congrats on purchasing the best car ever made. Arguably.
