How does it already have Minnesota plates?
I registered it and started the insurance and mailed the docs and plates to Chris. Otherwise he couldn't have driven it for all the work like alignment and various shake down runs.

I didn't sell it, just got it shipped to Minnesota. I would have preferred a road trip to drive it home but I couldn't make it happen with our busy Sept schedule.

The car arrived safe and sound and I've enjoyed driving it the last 2 days.

A few small updates: nostalgic license plate bracket, BMWCCA badges, new tri color motorsport emblem on the bottom of the steering wheel, and checking for driveway clearance this morning.

I had the pleasure of checking out this car in Phoenix before Chris really dove into it. Solid car, and it sure has come a long way! Glad you’re happy with the end result Adam.

Thanks, yes Chris really came through to create the end result. I owe him a huge thanks for a lot of his time and patience. I believe it would be difficult to replicate this car when you consider Chris's know-how and the unique parts and upgrades that went into it are getting difficult to source.

Beautiful car! We should have an e28 get together before the snow flies.

Amazing car Adam! I hope the E28 blue book helps complete the experience (btw, hope those arrived ok). Somewhere I have maybe 10 early BMWCCA stickers (i.e. no space) that would look great in the windows. We just finished moving to SC, so everything's in limbo for a while here.

Is it coming to The Vintage next year?

Regards,
Chuck

Ron Davis radiator installed. More bling under the hood.

Ignore the black electrical tape, I have a new snorkel hose ready to install.

I created a video on the car which hopefully forgives all the broken image links in this thread.

I like everything about this car, including the peeps involved.

I especially like the license plate.

Sorry I had an issue with my website DNS that I can't easily fix. But you can check my website and see all the pics.
