Ben's crank hub has been installed for 3 years now on my s38 which sees RPM over 6500 on a regular basis. Great product.

I’ll take two if you make another batch. I sent you a PM a little too late it appears.

Looks like I didn't make the last batch large enough!

The good news is, these will be available through Ireland Engineering shortly! :)

Gary,

I didn’t plan on starting another run but had a shop request a large amount, couple other well known engine builders tagged along.

Wish I would get rich off these and I’d make them all day. Until then it’s not really more than covering my efforts of bringing them to the heat treater, hardness testing and shipping them out, on top of paying my machinist.

Just helping out the people that see a need in using them on their engines. I think I’ve made close to 100 of them now.

Go for it.
I saw the Ireland mention. Guess that's the shop? Glad these are made better than the oversize SS valves I bought from them and had fail.
See you at The Vintage?

Hi,

Do you still have the final hub for a M635csi 1986?
Is this the same as the Frank Fahey hub ?

Thanks

This is what happens when work gets in the way of ones hobbies... Totally missed this resurrection! If for some reason you have or are making any for the M88/3, I'll take one without blinking. This has been THE component missing for my engine resto. I'm one PM away if availability changes Ben! ;)

Hi.. New to the board and "way" late for the request for S38 Crank Hub.... If anymore are being made... will take 2. Have an M88/3 and S38B36 Dinan motor. Heard the Ireland Engineering might be carrying these; but, did not see anything on their website. Any news?

Ireland shows the hub NLA. Any other sources known to BenGerman or others?

You don't need one but I'm sure Ben will sell you one.
Biggest fake story every put out about the S38. A guy named Fahey wanted to make some money, so he put out a story about the hubs coming apart.
See if you can find a story where one did. Hundreds have tried.

Oh Gary, you are still not over this are you?

Glad your engine is running well, how many miles have you’ve run it so far?

I can always request another run through the shop. Would have to be at least 10 of them - so if the team at Ireland has enough demand, they can always reach out.

Just hate to see guys spend money they don't need to based on a false rumor.

Right at 190,000 and running strong and frequently hitting the rev limiter at 7200 :D

I'm working with IE and my machine shop to get another 20 made. Should be available early 2025.
