Car events in New Orleans?

My girlfriend and I are considering revisiting New Orleans after our previous visit was shut down (They even shut down the cemeteries in March 2010). Looking at May through August. Are there any German car events (VW maybe?) or German cultural events in the US Midwest during that time?
