Michael from stanceworks just did a vid on these HR coilovers before he sold his car. He is super busy and currently not easily reached for confirmation. I cannot find a thing. If you know I'd love to grab a set for my turbo build.
Can anyone ID model numbers on these?
Re: Can anyone ID model numbers on these?
Couldn't find them on H&R's site but this online shop has them listed - https://www.tunershop.shop/h-r-coilover ... bmw-5.html

Yeah I found the monotubes. The one I posted has the complete strut buttom that bolts right on. I don't mind welding them but if I don't have to.....

Try reaching out to leichtbauwerkstatt, they’re friends/neighbours of stanceworks and I believe they were selling sets of these. They’re a customer shop so might be easier to contact
Re: Can anyone ID model numbers on these?
Thank you! I will do that.

This is the part number: 28808-2. You'd still need to source camber/caster plates for the front and top hats for the rear and related miscellany, as the HR kit doesn't supply all that. Also, the shock absorber compression/rebound is not adjustable, if that's important.

Leichtbauwerkstatt for the win! They send batches over to Germany where H&R welds them on their jig. They also put the silver finish on. I am sending some cores down to Costa Mesa for the next batch.

Hey did you ever get your coilvers from them? I was thinking of doing the same, but they quoted me $2600 for a set which is quite high. I'm finding it online for $1600+ shipping, but not sure whether or not it'll be the right set (ABS)vandiesel wrote: Mar 27, 2024 11:25 AM Leichtbauwerkstatt for the win!
