Aux Fan switch wiring

Hi All,

New to owning an e28 and working on patching some coolant leaks. Replaced the fan temp switches and their washers on the radiator but can't find any markings to determine which prongs are pos/neg. Does polarity matter for reattaching the wires? Appreciate any help, thank you.

Welcome to the group, I see this is your first post.

No worries about polarity, it's a simple switch that when it gets to the point of switching on, simply connects the two terminals.
