It's OE "bronze" glass. No aftermarket tint.

SLC E28 BBQ you say? If I can get mine back on the road by then I’d love to stop by. It would be great to meet some other local enthusiasts!

Minerva was honored to be the first "in anger" project at Gruntled HQ. While there is still more do to on the shop, the car-working areas are complete.

Specifically, I got the Racedeck tiles finished and secured the in-floor scissor lift in the wet spot.

Minerva had been sitting in the corner, neglected and collecting dust. Sometime last winter the right front tire lost air. The leak is in the sidewall. When I bought the Alpinas they came with those tires and one had a small sidewall cut. I guess it finally gave up.

So the two jobs were: Clean that bish, and plop some other wheels one. A tirietery job was to get some sexy photos.

I've been driving her around the last 3 days and... 💕💕💕

There's still quite a few cosmetic things i have to tweaks, but mechanically this car is tits.

Are those Style 29s? I've got a soft spot for those. Always wondered what they would look like with the centers painted black or some dark gray... similar to the way the Alpina centers are finished.

Getting sexy photos of Minerva must be one of the easiest jobs out there!

I'm not a frequent poster on here but I have to reply to this topic. I have loved reading this whole topic multiple times! This must be the most well documented and detailed restoration of an E28 there is. Love the color, love the choice for the S54 and love the attention to detail!
Some day I will do this with my E28 with m52b28 ;)

At work I am finishing a stranded (original) E28 M5 project that is more or less in similar condition as you car, like new. Just want to thank you for the numerous detailed photos.
