I absolutely love the saw, both tools have their place but the circular chop saw makes fast, clean and very accurate cuts. The only downfall is the cost of the blades but it's just part of doing business. A horizontal bandsaw is going to have a larger capacity but takes much longer and has the potential for blade deflection, the bandsaw is great for setting up thick material and I can walk away while it's cutting. I mostly use the bandsaw in the vertical position or horizontally for late night building as it basically is silent.
I also bought a 9" slugger circular saw that works amazing too.

No! I am going to be in Portland in Dec. I would like to see the car and get you to put a number on it.bkbimmer wrote:Should I turn this thing into a Ute?

I don't get the inside jokes here, but I would also like to see this car again because it's awesome and has been much of the inspiration for my '83 Alpin/Schwartz 533i. No e28 here is 'finished' and if it were, that would be boring.
