Hey, I picked these two up at a salvage yard near my house for 75 bucks. Is that a good deal? LOL

Yeah, that's a good deal that your local salvage yard(s) have BMWs. Mine are all full of rusted out pickup trucks, sigh :( .

That was in the for sale section a while back. It fits early valance cars. Pfeba. I think he wanted like $250 for it, and without the tow covers and broken mounting points, that seemed a bit high.

They don't currently make any for the early valance, however it is the same as the Euro valance, so most Euro spoilers and a few others. Check the spoiler FAQ in eye candy.

Forgot AC Schnitzer bumper spoiler

Post by M5ZEALOT »

Got this kit from Germany in 1999. I think it retailed for about $4,000.00 back then, came complete with all mounting hardware and made of plastic re-enforced fiberglass. I'll post more detailed pics soon. And yes, Breyton marketed an all fiberglass replica of the kit.....sold thru BMP in Texas. This one is the real deal.

BBS front spoiler

Post by rodpaine »

This is the BBS Typ. 21 10 013, which appears to be identical to Aron's spoiler. I've only seen four of these, including Aron's, during the past 25 years. Mine was installed as an option by the BMW dealer at the time I Ieased the car, along with optional E24 19-spoke wheels with TRXs, a three spoke sport steering wheel and fog lights with lamp guards. Yes, the fog light lamps were yellow glass as installed by the dealer in 1983. (Evergreen Motors BMW, Frederick, MD)

Whoa! Nice BBS airdam, especially with the fog mounts and yellow fogs! Very classy. What is the color of your car?
And SHWAT? You got that from a Frederick dealer?! Noice grab!

Check out Rod's website, where he reveals all. Evergreen BMW is long gone, went out of business in early 1990, or there abouts. Originally met Rod there, in the customer waiting room, about 1985. Used to be Precision Motors before that, where I traded in my worn out Saab and bought a well loved year old E12, when I lived in Hagerstown, MD. Rod's car is Saphire Blue Metalic, original paint!

Taking a wild guess, and could be totally wrong here, but could it be a hartge airdam?

Hartge? Can you name this Kit?

Post by SHARKY5 »

Someone please help me name the air dam and rear spoiler. This is an air dam I don't think I have seen in the post yet. It is on my 84' 528e. The rear spoiler looks like the Hartge in one of the pics previously posted. Both items say "Made in Austria" and have the word "foha" stamped on them. Once someone positively identifies them I will make the correction so it sits properly in FAQ section.
