I have a brand new fuel pump from my k-jet e12 - a nice bosch pump, that I'm not going to use in that car. Will it go in the e28 535i? Will I need to look at the FPR too? Is there any point in putting such a high pressure pump in a Motronic car?
According to my Bosch KE-Jetronic manual, the fuel pump is supposed to supply a minimum of 5.4 BAR which should be adequate for the 2.5 BAR 528e and the 3 BAR everything-else - if the p/n was available to see what applications it might fit.
