Hey Randy,
I hope all is finally coming together for your rebuild. I havent heard much since you were having the not-all-cylinders-running type of problems. What was the problem causing that? Ive heard that .009" and .010" are good measurements for a dead cold adjustment on the M20. 325i cam right? I'll probably do both intake and exhaust at ten thousandths to try it out.

Chris

Looking forward to that WooHoo Post coming up. Be nice to hear your impressions of the upgrade compared to the little you remember about the old ride.

I agree with Shadow: Go with the Bentley specs.

However, I suggest going about 0.01" tighter. Word on the street is that these engines run better set a little tight after they've gotten a few miles on them. I've done it for years and have had no problems. It'll help to keep it quiet, too!

I would run factory spec on the M20 valve adjustment, especially on a motor now capable of 7000 RPM (with the correct chip). We see lots of broken rocker arms on M20s.
