I just bought a Saab moonroof and im a little unsure of the

What I need to know is do I need to trim the plastic inside trim that screws to the moon roof, or do I need to adjust my rails it hits when trying to close.

Here is a picture of the Saab piece (left) and the U.S. e28 one (right).
If you didn't get the Saab part, you'll have to modify yours to the same shape.
