Well I was planning on converting my 1984 633csi engine in my 88 325is to motronic 1.3 the week of March 7-11 I went out today to tighten up my altenator belt and noticed the crank sensor dangeling. A couple weeks ago I had to drain the radiator so I went ahead and installed the Toother main pulley, and bracket for the Crank sensor I thought I tightened down the bolt for the Crank sensor but i guese not, it came loose and got cuaght in the toother pulley a few times it looks the front is all mangleled up. So unless I find one i'll have to put off the conversion. I've got 2 e30's sensors one has the same part number on the sensor and one dosn't as the e32 one I have. The ETK shows different part numbers between the e30 motronic 1.3 and the E32/E34 motronic 1.3 one's What do you guys think?
I realy want to do this conversion during this week as it's spring break, during the normal school week I don't have time to yank and replace an engine harness.

Im not an expert but if they have the same part# they are the same part. that being said the reason they dont both have the same # may be that they are interchangable with annother # or one is newer than the other and the OEM made changes to the part and changed the #......Steve
