Just thought I'd pass this one along. Wandering the local AutoZone this afternoon I ran across the followingfor a grand total of $5.40:

Sunpro Metric Adapter Kit Pn CP7573

"Includes 5 brass busings for adapting electrical and mechanical gauges/senders (except mechanical temperature gauges) to Metric thread engines."

M10 X 1.0 to 1/8 NPT
M12 X 1.0 to 1/8 NPT
M14 X 1.5 to 1/8 NPT
M16 X 1.5 to 1/8 NPT
1/8-28 BSP to 1/8 NPT

That's a good selection, but one thing that's missing is the thread that many of our senders (oil pressure port in head, etc.) use: 12x1.5. I'd stay away from these anyway, given the very thin wall:

I had used similar adapters from Equus and they broke before they barely began to squash the crush washer.

I've had success using the ISSPRO R7962 in conjunction with a tee:

Unfortunately, the ISSPRO adaptor uses that O-ring, which is woefully inadequate. I had to epoxy a washer under the head to hold the crush washer.
