Dear E28ers

I already have an E28 euro 528i which I am currently doing up. I have in recent days been sorely tempted by an immaculate E30 ($$$)

Please set me right.....

buy it. E30's are just as cool as E28's, they are just smaller.

I'm looking for one of those too. Tell us more about it and we might can help you decide.

Can't go wrong with the e30! I love mine and it is just as reliable as my e28s. They are fast and handle like go-carts. So much different than the e28 but in a good way. There are also a ton of used parts for these cars, which means that they are inexpensive to upgrade. Go for it!

Oi! You guys were supposed to tell me to stay faithful to the E28! :p

This is one of the cleanest and most perfect E30s I have seen, black/black, plus it has an M50 24V engine...

You keep the e28 of course, the e30 is to be added to your stable. Cars for different purposes are the deal, I just bought a 325i Cabriolet last December and am enjoying it quite a bit. Completely different than the 535is, an e30 has a very interesting personality in my opinion.

Are you talking about selling the euro car and buying the e30, or having both? Also, what kind of e30 is it? If it's an M3 I'd maybe think about it, but I wouldn't trade the e28 for a 325.

In my opinion the euro 528 is a much cooler car, it's certainly rarer here in the US. My cousin has one and it's pretty neat.

I have an M535i and a 325iX; the M is my summer car and the iX is my winter car so they both have their place in my garage, but if I had to choose I'd keep the M. Besides the styling and exclusivity, it has more room, more luxury features, and it's quicker.

The E30 is awsome. So much more nimble than the E28 M5 we have, yet the M5 is a blast on the country roads just like the E30, just not as squirrelly. I say go for it. The 325is is an awsome car that is light and cheap to maintain.
