Hi,
I've been lurking around this board for a while, soaking up all the useful info. I've finally decided to post. I have an 88 Canadian 535is (auto) with a M535 kit. Its all stock except for...
Built in garage door opener.
15" racing dynamics wheels.
Bosch e-code headlights.
Mark D'sylva chip.
Clarion head unit.
Porsche front seats (my old front seats were beyond repair, and a friend gave me this set for free. I would like to switch back to original seats if I can find a set in good condition).

Welcome to the board! I love your ride! It is very very clean!
Did those porsche seats bolt right in? Or did they take some modification?

It took some modification. I used the rails from my old seats so i was able to retain all of the power functions except for the recline. I can take some pics for you if you want.

The seats match your interior beautifully! I wouldn't change those out!

Nice looking, Black with Cardinal Red interior is pretty rare. More Cardinal Red interiors are in Lachsilber cars. Nice job on the seats, and I'd say leave them in the car.

They look a bit like Derek's seats, he has the OEM's in two-tone.

What is Lachsilber? My car has red interior too. The car is white w/ red interior. I am just wondering what Lachsilber is.

Welcome to the board! Your car reminds me of my own, even the wheels are kind of similar (mine are 16" Azev type 'A'.)

That looks great! Im curious though, if those are porsche seats, did they just happen to match that well, or were they re-upholstered?
