Are you concerned that your E28 might get some pounding from a hail storm during the summer months? Well, throw the worries out the window!

Apparently, this thing has been proven to work. Hundreds of units are installed all over the world to prevent hail damage to agriculture and large car lots.

The device mixes air and acetylene to produce an ionic mixture that is shot up into the air to a maximum height of 50,000 feet. This prevents hailstones to form. Really cool technology!!

Fantastic news RobbieR,
Can this device be retrofitted to ANY e28 (or just Duke's M535Ti)?
Also, is it "euro-spec" by chance or does it have any leather components? :D
Cheers,
T
