Have gotten everything working except this:
I gotten
all the way to the
re-wiring part of the job.
I don't see the "clutch pedal being depressed disengaging the cruise control" addressed in the
write-up ,
and while test driving the car the cruise control doesn't disengage upon clutch depression.
Did I miss something?

There is a small harness under the dash near the clutch pedal with a jumper wire plugged into it. Unplug the jumper and plug the harness into the clutch pedal switch. Viola!

Yes, and also make sure that the pedal closes the switch when you let off or the cruise won't work.

It is just a little bolt on bracket and a switch. I'm sure someone can get you one quickly. Andy or Weird Al should have a couple.
