New Post Flag

Post by WilNJ »

Is it just me or is something different in the "new post" flags?

Typically, I would click on a thread that had the little yellow flag and when I went back to the forum, the little flag would no longer be yellow.

Now it only clears if I go to a different forum and then come back.

Mine seem to clear randomly. If you click on a thread and then push "back" to get back to the main forum, you'll be viewing an old version of that page and it won't show that you've viewed a thread. If you click the link to the forum (ex: General Conversation) or push "Refresh", you'll be looking at the new version of the page and it should be checked off.

Yeah, I know what it's doing in concept but I've never had an issue before.

Now, I read a thread, click back and think someone has made another post just as I was leaving.

Sometimes my crappy internet will just tell me there are no new posts. There will be some when I go into a subforum, but when I come back to the index, the flags will all be grey.
