items for sale
items for sale
just a thought- but how about marking your parts as "sold" when they are no longer available? I have now wasted alot of time sending numerous replies for various parts on this forum offered for sale, with not a single reply...unbelievable! Is the courtesy of a reply to much to ask?

You joined on Wednesday and you're whining on Saturday? How fast do you require replies? Not everyone checks in daily plus it's a holiday weekend.nsxguy7 wrote: I have now wasted alot of time sending numerous replies for various parts on this forum offered for sale, with not a single reply.
I really hope you're able to pick up the pieces and move on with your life after this terrible tragedy.

But there is nothing wrong with this Wed-Sat thing. If he had posted some grammar errors, spelling errors or FAQ easily searched, we would not have waited a couple/few days to pile the crap on his post. This is just a noob jumping right in and getting with the program. Or at least I'm giving him the first week for free.Karl Grau wrote:You joined on Wednesday and you're whining on Saturday?
Isn't it a noobs right to set the rules during that first week?

maybe look at the date of the item if its like 2 years old....of course someone who had a set of young shiny idle control valves sold them years ago, they are hot items!shocka wrote:Agreed, its a valid point. Items sold should be marked as such.
I dont know how people find posts, they respond to three or four year old threads....like seriously you know you found that shit via the search function.
Re: items for sale
My point was that even if he inquired about parts immediately after joining, that's only a couple of days. He should give people a little longer to get back to him.Blue Shadow wrote:

I agree. I don't know what parts this guy was looking at. Maybe they're still available and they just haven't seen his PM yet.shocka wrote:Agreed, its a valid point. Items sold should be marked as such.

Eat a dick...just a suggestion.nsxguy7 wrote:what a bunch of #$@% douchebags...youre too busy posting your snide remarks to notice that I am making a valid point. IF IT IS SOLD, MARK IT THAT WAY...GOT IT?!
Heh. You really are jumping right in.nsxguy7 wrote:here's a suggestion to you, Kyle....go FUC# yourself, you stupid REDNECK...!
I agree about marking things sold, it would be nice if everybody did. You have to treat it like a craigslist post or a newspaper classified i.e. the first question you ask is "hey, is xxx still for sale?"
Do you actually have an NSX? Those are cool cars.
You know what is the coolest ever? finding something for sale a long time ago that the person still has that doesn't care for it anymore. Then you get it for free. I will put up with a 50/50 chance that it is still around.
I had a buddy who was painting a car and had the windows covered with 5+ year old newspaper. I was looking at the classifieds and saw an ad for a 67 VW beetle for $2000. I called the number on the ad and the guy picked up. He still had the car sitting in his garage and said if I wanted It I could have it for $1200. It was a badass car. Unfortunately I couldn't come up with enough space to put it so I passed.
