Thanks!Frybrid 524td wrote:Tyler,tsmall07 wrote:So I guess posting about the steering box within 2 hours of your original post (and then PMing about it when a response never came) was not quick enough.Daver72 wrote: So far, the ... steering box ... sold/spoken for.

I may be able to get an M5 steering box for you since it looks like this venue isn't working out. I'll ask and let you know whether it is for sale.
Will be parting out E28 M5 soon.
My apologies for the lack of response, work/life have kept me extremely busy and the first attempt to part the car out was a total failure. Luckily, another board member who happens to be a bmw certified technician took possesion of the car mid april and has been a life saver getting it parted out. I understand the hesitation since I am a new member, but I thought that after years of lurking and just reading posts, this would be the best place to offer the parts.Karl Grau wrote:Well thanks for checking in every few months.Daver72 wrote:Sorry for the delay in replying,
I'm not trying to be a jerk but I'd be leery of buying anything from you. New member that only joined to sell stuff + rarely on the Board + bad communication isn't the formula for warm and fuzzy. I'm jus sayin...
I am trying to do my best to get the parts out in the order I recieved the requests, as alot of pm's and posts over lapped.
Like I said, with my schedule I am trying to do my best, some of the parts are taking longer than I anticipated even when somone shows interest as several pm's, emails and phone calls are involved going over condition, making sure I know what people are talking about (I need to ask the mechanic doing the parting alot of questions, as I am not mechanical at all and don't know alot of the specifics... )

Hi, I just wanted to say thank-you to Daver72 and his mechanic for the excellent job done in shipping the M5 front seats from NJ to me in Bristol, TN. Seats were individually packed as instructed in cardboard and shrinkwrap, no damage.
Sent by Greyhound Package Express to my local depot in Bristol, TN.
Great transaction, good guys!

You can buy them new. Why bother grinding them off and trying to reuse them?Manny D. wrote:I would like to purchase the swaybar mounting brackets from you. If you could possibly have your mechanic cut/grind the welds and remove the bracket. I am unable to mount my 25/19 adjustable sways without these brackets.
Are they available at the dealer?Frybrid 524td wrote:You can buy them new. Unfortunately the parts guy at our dealer in Fremont, CA is a dick and an idiot. Sure wish there was a guy like Brian out here. Brian, You need to "Reach back like a pimp, and smack them hoes" Eazy-E.
