CL ads

Post by Zach716 »

Can we make it a general rule/guideline (sticky) that when you post a CraigsList ad that you 'quote it' so when the ad is deleted or expires others can still view what it was about? I think it would be very helpful.

That is all.

This.

I've been known to throw a bitch fit when people don't do so and only the first three posters know WTF is going on.

Like walking in on an award conversation between two urinals at Buffalo Wild Wings....all you can do is smile and nod, and hope everything will turn out ok.

Copy and paste. There may also be a better way but I don't know it.

I don't do it for legal concerns because there may be contact information in the ad that the seller may want removed when they remove the CL ad.

I agree that it is the responsibility of the seller to consider that they are posting their contact information online in a public venue but I don't want to have to police everything I post for contact info in fear that I may have missed something because the seller is a dumb douche. And we all know plenty of dumb douche sellers.

But I have been quoting the title of the ad which should at least include the price of the car and description.
