Heh, eh, eh mebbe we do ???
I was on vacation out in your part of the country, Duke, hunting upland game! Not to worry, I've plenty of interesting contents ready to go.
We put these together for some of the Marines over in the AOR a couple of times each year. Different contents, but they fill up fast.

Just got back from dropping mine off. It wasn't bulging quite as badly as I thought, but there were some items rattling around in there. Crossing fingers & hoping it doesn't raise any alarms along the way!
When I was addressing the box I noticed that they don't give an "official" spot for a return address on those boxes or on the labels, and it occurred to me that sending it anonymously would add a fun twist to the game... Although with the postmark on mine, it would be fairly obvious. Mebbee next time...

Across town? Heck, I would've withheld my $10.95 from the USPS and delivered in person! (anonymously, of course!) Think of the junk you could unload if it weren't for the box size restrictions.lv600 wrote:I shipped mine yesterday, and slapped on the 70 cents for confirmation.
Now to see if they post first, since it was only across town.
I thought about it, especially since he's an enthusiast also, but I was lazy. Post office is 1/2 mile vs. 30 miles RT to deliver.davintosh wrote: Across town? Besides, I like getting things in the mail. Breaks up the day!
I'm not in this go round, but yeah, a core head, an old starter or two, the list is endless.davintosh wrote:Across town? Heck, I would've withheld my $10.95 from the USPS and delivered in person! Could be, but while I'm aware of the presence of a particular industry, I'm not involved with it. I just know it's there from the newspaper.ahab wrote:In my experience, not having a return address can flag a box for possible contraband. Guess I was looking at the wrong side.ahab wrote:In my experience, not having a return address can flag a box for possible contraband. But yeah; that might be a common MO for somebody using the USPS as their mule. Would imagine they tend to frown on that sort of activity.
Don't worry about Dooks BS. The deadline to ship is this Saturday. It says so in the rules.Cactus wrote:I hope I get an exception, I signed up while I was away for business, didn't get back till ~ the drawing. Either way, sending tomorrow.Duke wrote:I hope the above slackers don't have my name. Your boxes should have been ready when you recived the name and address.
Just sayin.
