This is the message I got when trying to change my email address:

The current password you supplied does not match that stored in the database.

Be sure to fill all the blanks with asterisks. There's three password boxes in addition to the e-mail field. New password can match the old password, it doesn't have to change.

Make sure there's no typos in the e-mail field. A confirmation e-mail will go to whatever e-mail address you provide and your account will be disabled until you confirm said e-mail.

I didn't write the software, nor do I possess the knowledge or talent required to modify the existing software. It is what it is. I do not feel that it's difficult to deal with, it's just particular.

There's instructions on the form that clearly state "Items marked with a * are required unless stated otherwise." If you can't follow instructions, you can pretty much expect it not to work properly.

Uh, Jeremy, sometimes we say something that isn't sarcastic ...

It's all in the punctuation.

That's simple! (probably not sarcastic)

That's simple. (ambiguous)

That's simple ... (probably sarcastic)

That's simple? (not sarcastic, but similar meaning to the phrase with sarcasm)

Unless what Krieger said regarding sarcasm was sarcasm, in which case ... "Oh ..."

No sarcasm implied, at least not towards anyone but myself.
I was simply stating that according to the challenges I usually face when doing things on different websites
that that process would have been simple enough for me to figure out on my own
without having to ask my wife, or worse, my kids, to figure out.

If I had completed the sentence, it would have been something like this;
... enough, that even someone as challenged as I am could do it.

Based on that the OP might have felt slighted just a bit, but that wasn't intended either.

Sorry guys, I'll try to complete a few more sentences in future posts.

Unless I'm a dummy I don't see them. I have a new e-mail and need to change it. Could tell me where these 3 password boxes are? Thanks.

They are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th boxes that you can fill in when you click on the link I provided. The first is your new email.

Which should bring you to a screen that has this at the very top:

All four of those blank fields must be filled in. You put your new e-mail address in the first field.

Unless you want to change the password, only the new email address and current password (top 2 boxes) need to be entered. That's how the page should work.
