In sport mode, the throttle response of Sia's car is certainly more aggressive but at the same time I find it very functional.
The 3.73 diff really ties in nicely with the S54 which pulls smoothly at low rpm even in high gear and the top end rush of the little monster is very impressive.
Mark has already test dive this car and he knows what this car is all about, performance, performance and more performance, also according to him and other great members that have already share their thoughts regarding the appearance of this car, I am great full to all.
Cheers,
Sia

FYI, not the first one, but rather at the same time, as I recall. Yes your friend finished first but mine took few weeks longer just because I wanted every thing to look and feel as stock.
Just for Fun, ask your talented friend if he was able to get the double Vanos activated and working with the original ECU as it should be or just deleted for connivance and or using some other after market programming , so the S54 is not only acting as a modern M30 lump? which would be a shame.
The polite and nice way to share your friends car would be to create a thread for him, if you know what I mean.

I like to think I have owned a few notable E28's, so I don't say this lightly --- this may be the most desirable e28 build I have ever seen. I look forward to a ride one of these days.

First of all Chris, he has voice to raise himself if he wanted to know anything here and no need for speaks man.
Secondly, he posted on general conversation thread for people to join a site, and he talked about his friend’s car. So nor the car is his or the thread is about the car specifically.
Finally, if you like to turn this in to a battle, then that is a different story Chris.

Also FYI, you never mentioned of my comment on the original build thread.

I second what "wkohler" said.
B7, here is something you should know about me. I am a car guy period. Not a BMW guy, not a VW guy, not a Mini guy, a car guy. The link to 3rdrevolution showed all of my cars, with the nicest being the e28 M5 which I thought this community would appreciate.
Yes, you did come along and jack the thread with your porn post. Now the info is there for all to see, enough said.

Mark are you a sentient human being, or a 2nd mye28 board handle that Sia uses to reaffirm his points? Either way you contribute nothing of value.

Sure I'm jealous, you have great taste in cars, who wouldn't wish they were in their garage? Notice: I stroked your ego, because when it's already at the maximum, it shouldn't matter.

But in the meantime..........I want you to feel better about yourself....so here you go.

Adam, I have no idea as why you would come in here and start blasting non related post, I don’t see any reason, there are 4 other pages that people expressing their humble opinions and I have thanked and appreciated every one who has left a comments, also where in the hell do you see in any of my response that I show or reinforced my “EGO”. You should get your facts straight.
Honestly, it doesn’t make you look good what so ever, hope Jeremy or any other Beamter, who is responsible and can see this that with out any reason you are harassing Me and others in my own Thread.
As you said you are Jealous, but I tell you this, Jealousy is mother of all Evils and nothing good comes out of it, so be a good man and stop making yourself look bad instead you could show us as how humble and nice person you can be so we can talk and enjoy this forum all to gather.

fuck
that car is so nice
you don't need anyone to tell you it's nice
or not nice
you yourself should know that your car is fucking sweet, rare, and amazing
the joy you get from driving it should really expel the need for forum comments!
ok so that guy posted his car, he's probably jealous that yours is nicer and you're getting all this forum love.
who cares, your car is fucking awesome.

I don’t really care about his opinion, just for principal of it, that’s all. He was asked few times in the past not to, but again what you said was bang on!
The reason I post stuff here to contribute something to community, which people can see other alternative work or brands that can be done to make these old and vintage cars look desirable and wanted. Other than that we (COT) have introduced RTT here for people who truly love their cars and want to drive them, We have attended at all the good 5er Fests from 2005 (best of show winner) till 2007and built friendship for life with many members here, among other good things that people can testify on that in the last 10 years.
Also thank you for your honest observation and opinion, Thank You!!!

You're welcome, and your car is totally amazing. It does show the community that we can breathe even "newer" life into our e28's and I would LOVE to have that engine in my car. I can't even imagine how that car pulls on the highway or lights the tires up through the first 3 gears.

It is crazy, unusual and unexpected; you must experience it to believe it. Perhaps the best person to describe this, would be Peter (killerPM) as what the feeling was when last year for the last time we took the car out for the last drive before putting it away for the winter.
He drove the car, and I could tell, he was babying the car as is his nature (nice and caring driver), but half way through, he asked me to drive the car back. If Peter is around, he can take it from here for his experience. I enjoy the performance and the sound as you are going through the gears not like any cars I have experienced in the past, shear raw power and handling.

Hate to say it, but while the car is great, the owner has very poor manners based on his reaction to some (relevant) photos of another car being shown on this thread. Trying to score points about vanos function is just childish. Both cars are epic.

That is fine, you are in title to your opinion, but when the title of post start with
“Just for fun, here is the 1st e28, s54 that was built” with out knowing the back ground is not friendly way of posting some pics about the similar car as you mentioned.
The posts of the pics are not the problem, but the manor that was presented was not appropriate, also I was in touch with the actual owner of this car (Chuck) during the built, and I would be more then glad if Chuck would have post his cars pics here with some details.
Just to be clear, there are no score to be made in regards to double Vanos comment (either is working or not, not my issue , but still would be a shame), other then demonstrate that this person have no clue other then knowing the engine code that he mentioned in his start of title or comment. This car deserves better presentation and in the way that was presented did not do any justice to the car and as you see created disturbance.

Sia, you're car is incredible man. I can't imagine the work and $$ that went into making it basically look like it's come off the showroom floor like a new car. Keep it up with
your future cars and don't let these lowly people who obviously have nothing nice to say discourage you! I look forward to seeing your future work!

Thanks for the clarification Paul, from what I understood form bellow quote, it is not clear to me that he owns the car, he just “accessorized”.
I was always under impression Chuck was owner of the car, now perhaps in light of this miss understanding, the new owner can take the time and post a new thread and introduce himself with a little details and his car so its clear enough this time around.
New Owner Rote.
“Hi everyone,
some friends and I just launched a site that allows car buffs like us to create a portfolio page of the cars we built/own/in progress etc., regardless of make/model.
Here is my page, including the S54 M5, which ChuckNE built (hi chuck) and I accessorized.”
