All orders have been shipped. I was delayed getting to the shipping center until today so I shipped the orders 2nd day air. If you ordered a bracket you should have already received, or will receive shortly, a shipping notification with a UPS tracking #.

I still have bare and zinc brackets. Place your orders now www.kindel.com/store.

When I first set this up, I got a surprising number of people claiming they wanted "bare metal" brackets instead of zinc plated. In fact, more people wanted bare than zinc. I knew that couldn't be right. But I did a 50% split anyway.

It turns out it wasn't right: I'm starting to run low on stock of the zinc variant. Before long all that will be available are the bare ones. If you want a zinc bracket you should order soon.

Are you using reverse psychology because there's too many zincs?

I guess I see what you mean how it could come across as confusing. I was mostly just complaining. The reality is I'm going to be stuck with an inventory of what I think is the "less desireable" SKU. It's not a big deal...as long as I sell most of my inventory I'll break even on my costs and this whole project will be a success.

If need be, start calling them out so we can start shaming them.

I'll start right now: it's just plain WRONG to make CEK go through all that work, just to have a bunch of lame-o's back out on him after the fact. STEP UP, PEOPLE.

Sorry, that's the best i could do.

Uh, did someone not get their bracket they ordered? One fine customer received two somehow...meaning I that I either duplicated his order or failed to send one to someone.

Please email me at kindelsystems @ kindel.com if you ordered a bracket and have not received it yet (unless you are "KATHY"; I shipped yours today).

I have (and send) UPS tracking numbers for all orders, so I'm pretty confused.

In case you are curious I have shipped 18 orders (19 brackets).

I changed the oil on Vlad today and that gave me an excuse to pull out the bare metal bracket I had previously installed and put in a nice shiny zinc plated one.

If any of my customers has pictures of a zinc bracket installed on a motor NOT in a car, I'd appreciate you posting a few.

Re: Bracket for B35 Intake Manifold - Black Powder Coat Adde

Post by tig »

I am getting a bunch of parts powder coated and it was only incrementally more expensive for me to throw 10 or so of the remaining bare metal brackets into the job.

Thus sometime in the next week or so I will be adding a 3rd option for these brackets: Satin black powder coat. I do not yet have pictures (obviously) but will be pricing will be the same as for the Zinc plated brackets ($30 + shipping).

When they are available I'll add them for ordering on www.kindel.com/store.

Cheers.

I feel bad for not ordering mine yet.
Will the black powder coated ones be ready by SD weekend?
If so I'll take 2!
