To the OP, if you are asking top dollar for your car a few more pictures would help immensely, starting with pictures of the driver's seat and engine compartment...

Re: Members -- Please Don't Feed The Spammers
If he was a spammer, then shame on me. I poked around his twitter feed and his website before I replied. The guy fashions himself some type of securities/bonds guru, and it looked to me like he was proposing a purchase transaction along those lines. From looking at his website, he's clearly insane, and my attempt at humor was based on the quote on his website/twitter profile about the egg first, or the virus in the universe.
Anyway, the seller, markivan, is lucky he didn't get more derision from this board, given that he's got a grand total of two posts since 2013, then posts 5 pictures, and wants $69K for the car.
Just now, I see he did the classic noob move and deleted everything, so nobody can tell what the F...K was going on with the post to begin with. Time to lock the post up or delete it altogether IMHO.
Nuff said.
Best,
John Graham

Sure has been a lot of offers for fake passports these days. I wonder if they're operating out of the same office as the people who call saying they're from Microsoft and they want to fix my computer...I got four of those just this morning.
Re: Members -- Please Don't Feed The Spammers
I only get those once in a while. They usually hang up quick when I ask why they are trying to scam me.stuartinmn wrote:Sure has been a lot of offers for fake passports these days. What I do get is the ones from Visa/Mastercard. Not either or, but like one name, like they're one company. If there's a real person, a rarity, I quiz them on which company they are from, explaining they are two different, competing companies. They stutter for a while working on an answer before hanging up. Apparently our fine elected representatives get these calls too since this is one issue there appears to be a little bit of bipartisan support to control.
