A spoiler FAQ. It is all pictures, dial-uppers go for coffee
Re: A spoiler FAQ. It is all pictures, dial-uppers go for co
There are two different BBS spoilers. The early one on Aaron's car and the late one on the car Charlie posted. The early one looks much better in my opinion.

Thanks, this is the info I was looking for.wkohler wrote:There are two different BBS spoilers. The early one on Aaron's car and the late one on the car Charlie posted. The early one looks much better in my opinion.
Even though I'm a slave to the 80s I've never really liked the cow-catcher-lower-lips. Thus I prefer the later one. However, I'm still not convinced I like it better than the M5 spoiler.

How's their material quality? Doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart, or start cracking?

Does this spoiler have a particular name or code?

It's called a non-spoiler.

Are there any dial-uppers left?

I'm sure there were in 2006, when the thread was started.

If we get everyone to post that they do not have dial up (or a lack of net neutrality, limited data and such), I can edit the title as needed.

I still use dial-up.Lotus72D wrote:M. Holtmeier wrote:Are there any dial-uppers left?

Well since the title is still appropriate for you, I'll leave it for a while longer.
I'm sure others understand.

Anyone mind if I post a nice E24 rear spoiler I've found? It's a fiberglass rep of the long-NLA factory rubber part, produced by a guy in Portugal. Really nice quality, delivered in primer for less than $200, and the fit and finish are perfect:
Seller is Jasa Carbon on FB, or "roz_ro2015" on eBay. The reason I posted this info is that he makes quite a few BMW parts, although I haven't seen any for the E28's. If there is some interest, that might change, so hit him up if there's something you might like that others would, too. His name is Andersonn Talgliamento.

Still the best looking set up ever on an e28 IMO. Especially in Alpine. Beautiful carboomvader wrote:Old school stock US 535is. The one most tear off in lieu of the Euro stuff.
