It may always be green here, but it's been wet since October. I wouldn't mind 86 degrees to dry out my socks!

five days to go and there is a lot to get done. The diff is in ...

Image

Now I can turn to the really important project. My new help was looking forward to using the Sawsall to make interior modifications ...

but it turns out that BMW back in the 80s knew I would need a place for the hand brake so unfortunately no Sawsall work. BMW left me a huge compartment under the phone that seems to be the exact size I need.

besides this there are some minor things to fix for the trip like a blown radiator.

OK, now it makes sense. A drifter. At first I saw a hand operated clutch which didn't really make sense.

At his age? There must be some other explanation. Maybe he's making a dune buggy. :?

It's not the size of the pepper mill, it's how you use it.

Gotta ask about the wifey thing again... :D

Pam is coming but doesn't want to spend most of the day looking and talking about cars. She is willing to plan and organize something that will take a few hours, either on Friday or Saturday (maybe both). She will be bringing her RX330 so she has room to do some shuttling too. I guess bottom line is she prefers that something is somewhat planned rather than deal with uncertainty...would those of the female persuasion be interested if she made some suggestions and possible arrangements?

I heard Mrs Photopark might be inviting a friend and I’m trying to convince my friend Julie to come but I think she's on the fence waiting to see how the weather is going to be.

She uses voice for texts AND she has an Iphone so I don't even bother trying to correct anything.

Jules and I have known each other for almost 30 years and her sense of humor is very similar to mine. She's the same girl from my Christmas texting post last year. If she attends, she'll have no problem hanging with you animals. :)

I have tried to get Mary to at least stop by Saturday at some point, but she is totally passing on SausageFest 2017.
So after I drop her off at her mother's Friday afternoon, I am on my own until Sunday.

She considered her slave labor this past week getting the M535i ready her obligation.

Yes, but it appears you missed the thread about T-shirts that was running for a week or so, so I don't know what to tell you about that. Not sure if any extras were ordered.

yes Mike a drift car, and yes come by one day

another prep day that went past midnight. Yar's M5 got a change of all fluids and a tire rotation. The car in the back decided to make a new project for me. The alternator broke just in time for the trip.

of course there are ocho-specific parts on the alternator too and the best way to get them off is with a bolt cutter and angle grinder:

Oooo...That looks good. I may have to make a suggestion for my own lunch-daters.....

Or that might be risky for both parties.... :?
