yep.... what i know sure is that 525tds can make 390bhp & about 700nm with inline injection pumpgazm3 wrote:Love this diesel build. Something different. Bet with all that lovely boost its great fun to drive. Sure it won't make the big power numbers the m30 turbo will make but the bottom end mId range torque will make it feel like a beast.
what im doing later is m21d28 stroker engine with inline injection pump.... i hope we can get 450hp out...
now my engine has about 300hp not sure... but i will find out it some day

Well my new project injection pump for my engine... yeah bosch inline injection pump with 10mm plugers and yes it is an bosch P-series pump and it is huge...
Re:
I need to install a new pump on my e34, does the pump sprocket only have 2 positions?DieselBoost wrote:Engine timing for dumb people...
First check that your crank is on position O/T
next check that your cam is on this position...
use that square on cam to line it
Then try put your injection pump lock pin to place
Injection pump can be 180degrees wrong.. so if car does not start you can try to turn it...
and remember remove lock pin before you start
How I know I'm installing the new pump in correct position, to start the car?

Actually with good luck well if you put it wrong, it only starts hardy and makes white smoke and does not take RPM... nothing serious...
if im right there are two pin holes in pump wheel.... one is smaller than other one.... i just dont remember which one was the right...

Stock... no need for bigger injectors... and in future with P pump still stock ones.... because engine will stay indirect injection model, not an direct injected.JanisH wrote:Hello,

I am amazed at your 524
A question. I hope to get a mechanical pump installed in my 324td. Do I have to also change the turbo?
Continues to report, much encouragement!
