Got mine yesterday and installed it immediately. Great product and excellent instructions.

Anyone with a car prone to this failure needs one of these.

Thanks David

Installed. My arms will be sore tomorrow from all the contortions required to get those nuts/bolts on off. But it's done and I did not lose a nut behind the carpet ;-).

Nice product. Thanks.

Placed an order. Looking forward to the bracket replacement with this.

Actually, that's a total lie. I am not looking forward to the bracket replacement at all. But I do like the idea of not having to do it again anytime soon... :)

Got my parts FAST from David...and I'm so glad I did.

I started developing a slooooow clutch master leak that I would guess equaled around two drops per week. Bought this kit on a whim thinking it would be good preventative maintenance if nothing else.

When I got in to install it; I had a moment of fear that David perhaps sent the wrong piece as what I had absolutely wasn't going to fit. I quickly found that wasn't the case; rather someone had attempted a far cruder reinforcement technique before my ownership and that piece would need to be removed before I could install the new. The old piece wasn't attached on the firewall side, only the master cylinder and a number of washers were used as spacers. Not at all well thought-out. You can check out the flat, thick, HEAVY piece below:

With that out of the way I found I had a nice big crack. With darkness setting in, I moved ahead and got Dave's part on. Fit like a glove and has made a very big difference in clutch feel. I'm hoping this will take care of the master cylinder leak as things are certainly more aligned for success now.

Thanks again Dave! Great product.

I had some clutch issues and decided to change the Master and Slave cylinders and as it turns out, my pedal bracket is indeed cracked. Ordered and received my pedal bracket reinforcement from David which saved me from having to swap out the bracket.

It's a solid piece of metal and I expect that it will save me from having to revisit this tight working space again. I did indeed lose one nut behind the carpet, so the extra one came in handy. The nut next to the firewall really needs to get started using a magnet to hold it as it's difficult to get it started by hand or on the end of a socket because you have to place it precisely in a tight area by feel. Also, aligning everything is much easier with the bolts going in from the bracket side per the instructions. A good product!
