This 525i is a pretty car. Bet it is fast too. Has it been repainted? Looks really nice. Not sure if the camera lighting is the reason, but in the article above it looks like the right front fender is a slightly different color. Been noticing that a lot of metallic cars. Those brakes are huge, too.
Thanks for sharing this. That's a neat motor. Looks pretty close to like it belongs in there!

I recall we did this dyno run after the car was completed and before the DME adaptation which is about 1000 KM driving process, just to see the difference in power before adaptation and after.

After 1000 KM, we tested the car on another dyno session and the final result was, 291 HP, 265 Torque at the wheel at 7500RPM.

If you still have that copy I will for sure grab it from you this year. What hotel are you guys at this year? I wish my work schedule was tolerant for RTT.B7Turbo wrote:Hey man, I had one magazine packaged for you last year when we went to Vintage, but you didn’t show up at our hotel to get it. However it is available on line if you like to order one or join us at RTT 2014 (have some real fun) and I will defiantly have one copy for you!shagrath wrote:Where's my copy of the mag bro?
Love this car.
Amazing, Sia!
Been drooling over this car for a while now. I feel I'm at a point in my program where I can admit my obsession. I hope you don't mind, but I featured your car for 5erFriday!

During last year driving My e28 S54 after going to three long trips with many twisties, I found that my suspension although is all beefed up but still in a soft side, so I decided to replace them with the BC racing coilovers, which I heard from many members here and other forums that is a great up grade and gives you a super handling.
looking forward to warm weather!!!

Unfortunately BC Racing is the only one who makes coilovers for e28 in complete package and also I’m always open to suggestion if you have anything in your mind that I may have missed.wkohler wrote:I'm surprised you wouldn't have gone with maybe a higher quality coilover. Hope they offer the supper handling you are after.
Hahahahahahahha, I have tried many set up in the past and this is what I understand from my past experience.jodystevens wrote:I am interested in supper handling. Sounds delicious.B7Turbo wrote:...is a great up grade and gives you a supper handling.
Normal cushion like handling = original factory set up
Firm but still soft = factory sport set up
Firm and responsive = after market shucks and springs
Firm, sharp and super handling = Coilovers

I am just curious; have you driven a car with BC coilovers? I have driven an e39 M5, MZ3 and an e36 M3 with the BC set up and I can say that it is a great set up, regardless of the origin. With all seriousness, you should try.wkohler wrote:Ground Control, GAZ, to name a few. Really all you need are the spring perches some good non-Chinese springs and a set of adjustable shocks.

Shit, for anything bigger than the current set-up you would have to consider the brakes on the Toronto commuter (GO Train).B7Turbo wrote:astupidname wrote:Sweet jesus. That thing is flawless. And those brakes are huge. I'm jealous.
Cool thanks, and I love them too, they have excellent stoping power when is required.
