I don't think a detour to Columbus is in the cards since we'll be crossing back into Ontario at Detroit.
Let me know your route to Detroit and maybe we can meet (I would guess Indy/Ft Wayne/Toledo or Indy/Dayton/Toledo). If you are coming through Toledo, your stop is mandatory!
Drive hard, drive safe.

I was hoping things would improve but I must concede to the situation.
I have E36/family/E39/family issues that cannot be avoided. The cars could be worked around but the family stuff is unavoidable and may reach forward to TexFest too.
Be safe. Have fun. And take lots of pics.

Refurbished the A/C system. Now like a meat locker. Noticed I had an expired inspection sticker. Take care of that tomorrow. No sense in giving the LEOs and excuse to "chat."

Just back from shopping. St. Arnold, Southern Star, and Cervesa Model breweries provided the liquids. H E BUTTS prepared the chips, guac, pico, and ranchera. Ready to hit the back roads in the morning.

I'll definitely return for RTT next year to experience the full monty.
I could only stop in for one night; it has been a busy few weeks at work. Thanks to all for the good times and hospitality. The Canadian crew were awesome and provided a delicious meal Wed night (I believe Adrian was in on it too!). btw… Mark in To is a teddy bear
Good to see some of the Lone Star bubbas again as I'll miss Texfest
The BW hotel in Eureka Springs were great hosts and they went overboard to make me feel welcome in my short stay. I saw some exceptional e28s… very cool cars and owners. I appreciate you guys walking me through your rides.
Safe travels home everyone and if anyone is passing near my way, give me a shout.

I am pretty sure we all made it back safely.. We lost Sia on the way home... I know Mario made it...
It was an awesome time. Its going to take a few days for me to recover from this one. The drive from AR to Indiana just kicked the crap out of me (and I am sure Mark as well).

Glad to hear all went well.
I was home at about 12:30 after a stop in Tulsa where I found Jeff Goman repairing the same SLS line in his '91 M5 . Turns out that the warnings about increased noise when replacing the BMW dampened Hose with high pressure hydraulic Hose are true. Left Tulsa at 5:00 PM.
No AC , but running off the interstates with the iPod cranking blues and 70's guitar rock made the trip tolerable

Billy and I made it back to pensacola on saturday after touring the mississippi delta. We had a great time. It was good seeing everyone. What a great driving area. The AC in the hartge worked !! Another rtt in the books. The food was good also. I did break a pair of glasses when my chair broke. I also drank lots of good beer. I had a great time thanks to all who put in time effort and energy.
