Wide open mate!
Had too, sorry. ;)

Anything under 60kpa over 1200rpms.
Could use some leaner fine tuning, but It seems
just about right as it is.

I remember seeing about 16afr cruising on the street back when it was stock w/stock ecu.

My targets are all 14.7 under 60kpa.

were you setting your afr to 15.5 or from 15.5 cause unless you are low load 15.5 is lean.

Once the fuel table is tuned really good, You can set the target afr for the interstate cruise to 15.5 and let the EGO pull leaner than your tuned 14.7 in that area, and call it a day. That's what I did before I updated to 3.0.3 I'm still retuning my fuel map. When I flashed from 2.1.1A to 3.0.3N my whole fuel map was much too lean.

I agree that is lean, but in such a low load
it's going to be for mileage and does not cause
lean surges. Just to be clear, from 50kpa-70ish it starts to transition from 15.5 to 13.2afr

I also have about 37*ish for that area too. Some people
might say it's "too much" but if drivablitly remains great (Buttery smooth)
then it's all in the name of good mileage :)

I've read that the honda pilot usues around 50* for cruising. DANG.

During usual stop-light acceleration it goes to around 60 kpa anyway
so I mean anything under that is ultra light accel/cruising.
10% throttle.

Yeah I've tried 14.7 afterward and I don't feel a large change or at least not an improvement on driveability.
Not one that would be worth changing it 14.7. To be I clear I have it to that value just conserve fuel while driving in granny mod. Or else
I'd change everything to 14.7 cruising/light accel.

idk, try it and see if it starts to buck alittle.
Take like 5 minutes with the VE live anyway. :D

This is just MY experience guys.

Ya i'm not really sure, I hope someone better at tuning then myself chimes in.

Hey Peter, will VE Live and the latest addition of TS work well with MS1 or is this just a thing for MS2?

I've been meaning to talk to you about upgrading anyway.

Just curious how the VE Live works with the code and tables that all. Remember, MS1 uses smaller tables.

I wondered this too, and from what I am reading an upgrade from ms1 to ms2 is this.
Automatic Mixture Control: This updates the VE table(s) based on EGO feedback as you drive, tuning the engine automatically.

Since Ve live analyzer is using ego feedback, to correct the fuel mixture, i'm not sure how it would work at all with your setup. I would like to be corrected if i'm wrong, just trying to learn.

Ms1 you get to work with 8x8 table instead of a 12x12 (ms2).

I don't see how smaller tables would affect it, but ms1 does not use ego feedback? I would think thats the main problem. I

Ego feedback?
Ok, I see what you're asking. You have edited your post.

You do not need to set authority for ego to have live tune work.
I personally turn that crap off while tuning anyway.

If you don't use ego corrections, live tune won't care if
you keep authority at 0.

How would it do anything without EGO?

Yes, MS1 has ego correction and you set the authority control much like you would with Ms2

Idk exactly but just a guess.
Because you're not using it.
You're using VE live tune.

Well if this is the case, just try the new tuner studio. I can't even think of a conflict you would encounter when reading the changes from ms1 to ms2, if you have a good saved msq, then you won't hurt anything by giving it a try.
