Don't forget Biloxi, MS. You'll kick yourself if you don't go through Biloxi.

I spent 5 years there once, during 8 months of USAF basic electronics and radio school at Keesler.

I spent my "Phase II" nine month clinical rotation in the Hospital lab there. Only place I've ever seen a strip club next to a Baptist church. I found the path worn in the grass to be most interesting.

Ha!

I quite "religiously" went to a church in Bay St. Louis for about 5 months while
I was there. By far, I was the fairest skin person in the facility.

Creeper & tools in the trunk for a traditional parts run in San Antonio. Perhaps a little something extra under the hood for the normal shenanigans.

My old Euro (that no longer belongs to me) will be there in addition to whatever I end up driving. Does that count?

No. Way. I did too! Same program, in 1980. My first thought when I saw djazz's comment was, yeah, go through, but don't punish yourself by staying too long. ;) The place is the definition of hot & muggy in the summer, kinda like an armpit.

To see the panhandle you have to travel on highway 98. You must go through oyster country in carrabelle appalachacola and stay on 98 through mexico beach and make sure to drive the beach 98 from navarre to pensacola on to Fort pickens Its a five hour detour from I10 but well worth it

Looks like my name got dropped from the list, or maybe I didn't add it properly or something; whatever happened, it turns out I won't be able to make it this year anyway. We've got this software deployment going on at work that I somehow got put in charge of; we were aiming for a September 1 go-live date, but now that's been pushed back to October 1. And of course it wouldn't do for me to be gone on October 3... I'd say look for me in 2015, but we've got something cooking already that may well interfere with that, even though the date hasn't been set. So, have a good time, take lots of pictars, and if you can't drive within the limits of the law, at least drive safely.
