Not for me. :puke:

Doesn't look like you even bothered to mask. But what the hell, it's a 528.

I did mask, the paint seeped under the painters tape in a lot of places. I just never bothered to take it off. It's a $500 car man, I wasn't looking for perfection.

Yeah, it's got some rust. the passenger side front fender has a hole behind the body trim and is starting to rust along the top. There are only two mounts intact for the rear bumper, the drivers side had rotted away. I had a friend patch up the trunk since I don't know how to weld.

I know that there is some surface rust under the carpet in the rear foot wells and I try my best to not use the stock jacking points anymore.

It needs rear sub frame bushings and dogbones as well as upper and lower control arms.

It pushes a bit up blue on start, I think the valve seals are starting to go, and the ICV was replaced by a thumb valve set to idle properly when warm.

When I bought it it was in very rough shape, I've spent a bit of cash getting it back into a reasonable running condition for my DD. Had it a bit over a year now I guess.

Sounds to me like it's getting the proper treatment then.

Yeah, I mean I'm going to keep it on the road as long as I can for sure, cutting and repairing rust with my friend as the need arises.

Once my Samurai is back on the road I'll take this off and fix some more of the rust. It may eventually get a proper paint job... after a long soak in some aircraft stripper.
