I'm still in for the deck lid with or without the spoiler. Would also like the black trunk lid liner. Thanks!

This post is just a heads up, chance for me to start documenting interest, I wont know how much things will cost shipping wise (weight and how big a box I will need to ship in etc.) until we start the tear down which should be right after the holidays.

As for shipping prices, whatever UPS/USPS or if its a much larger part (ie engine or transmission) a frieght company charges is what I will tack on to the price of the item. While I am looking to get fair market value for the parts, I want them to go to enthusiasts such as yourselves and understand from my own experience the difficulty of tracking some of these down.

That being said, if anyone can reccomend a good freight shipping company, it would save me some research when the time comes.
greyhound will ship larger items for dirt cheap (comparatively).

Sorry for the delay in replying, have been inundated with pms and trying to get back to everyone in a timely manner with vacations et all...

So far, the engine, front seats, rear bumper, interior, shadow trim and steering box are sold/spoken for.

Please when sending pms, include the parts you are interested in in the subject line, it will help me keep things organized. If I havent replied and your looking for a part that hasn't sold yet, I apologize and will get back to you as soon as I can.

I'm not trying to be a jerk but I'd be leery of buying anything from you. New member that only joined to sell stuff + rarely on the Board + bad communication isn't the formula for warm and fuzzy. I'm jus sayin... ;)

So I guess posting about the steering box within 2 hours of your original post (and then PMing about it when a response never came) was not quick enough. :x

Tyler,
I may be able to get an M5 steering box for you since it looks like this venue isn't working out. I'll ask and let you know whether it is for sale.

My apologies for the lack of response, work/life have kept me extremely busy and the first attempt to part the car out was a total failure. Luckily, another board member who happens to be a bmw certified technician took possesion of the car mid april and has been a life saver getting it parted out. I understand the hesitation since I am a new member, but I thought that after years of lurking and just reading posts, this would be the best place to offer the parts.

I am trying to do my best to get the parts out in the order I recieved the requests, as alot of pm's and posts over lapped.

Like I said, with my schedule I am trying to do my best, some of the parts are taking longer than I anticipated even when somone shows interest as several pm's, emails and phone calls are involved going over condition, making sure I know what people are talking about (I need to ask the mechanic doing the parting alot of questions, as I am not mechanical at all and don't know alot of the specifics... )

Hi, I just wanted to say thank-you to Daver72 and his mechanic for the excellent job done in shipping the M5 front seats from NJ to me in Bristol, TN. Seats were individually packed as instructed in cardboard and shrinkwrap, no damage.
Sent by Greyhound Package Express to my local depot in Bristol, TN.
Great transaction, good guys!
