So offer him $13000, and buy a harbor freight garage.

I hate lachsilver, but Ted's car is the nicest example you could hope to own.

Nicer even that what he replaced it with ;)

Correct. Saratoga is the weekend before PVGP(July 21 to 24) and Vintage is at the end of May. I will be at all 3 events with the M535i until it sells. If it doesn't then back into storage it goes for another winter. Ted
If only I had a garage and $14k.

Your on Duke. Git that baby ready for me at Vintage. Besides I still owe you for a couple of beers from our Germany get together in 2006. :haul:

By the way folks the car is still for sale. :(

My favorite shots of my M535i.

She will be at Vintage with For Sale signs on it once again for those that are interested. Hope to see all my old friends once again. ;) Cheers.Ted in T.O.

:| :( I can't even come up with $1000, and no bank will loan me that kind of money for a car that age. Not to mention now is not the time to buy anyway when I am aiming for a house next year. :D

Damn, I really like your car sir.

Do you have any idea what it weighs? With the Euro bumpers, manual windows, cloth seats, no AC and whatnot it has to be a good deal less than a US 535i.

Let me take a guess. Right around 3000 pounds?

Right around 2700 pounds. Good lord, that is light.

What did you do to make it this light? I recall someone saying the M535i was around 3100 stock. Correct me if I'm wrong.

US M5 weighed around 3400 stock, with 256 HP.
weight to power ratio: 13.28:1

Your M535i, 2700 with 218 HP.
weight to power ratio: 12.39:1

Theoretically, you'd beat a US M5, not accounting for torque, tires, gearbox, diff, etc. Have you ever raced one to find out?

Damn, I'm liking this more by the minute.

Sorry Henry I stand corrected. Just came back from the weigh station and after I subtract my weigth plus the box in the trunk the M535i actually weighs 3171 lbs. The actual HP at the wheels is 172hp and 179 fp of torque.

My offer is 6K, bear in mind that your's car aint an M5, unless you have an M engine in there for what you asking, also there are lots of similar car and M5s advertised for way less then your asking price.
What is special about your car that you are asking such a high price?
High mileage, no air, nothing electric, pictures don’t even show interior or the problem areas that you mentioned.

You need to seriously pack sand and move the hell out.

Take your 6K and buy a Honda.

I think it’s the other way around; the more you bring up this post, the fewer offers you would get. That is fine with me, if you are not serious.

I'll buy it at your full asking price if it comes with either or both of the ladies. Plus I'll pay extra for both sets of wheels.
