I haven't been on the site for awhile, but seriously might attend. I've got a lot of parts right now, I'm parting a really nice 535i, so pm me if you're attending and need anything. I don't really need any of the mechanicals (m30b34), for example, and am going to junk the car. the front 3/4 are pristine and zinnoberrot. see my post under general convo for clarity, the dress stuff for the most part I'm keeping. Thanks

If anyone wants to meet for a late lunch and group drive up the last leg to Kerrville,
at the recommendation of a friend,
the same one who put me onto our Saturday Night dinner spot,
Pavel and I, and whoever else tags along, I think Nathan will be there too,
will be stopping at:

The John T. Floore Country Store
14492 Old Bandera Rd
Helotes, TX 78023

We should be pulling in to eat between 2:00 and 2:30 PM
For over 60 years, John T. Floore Country Store has hosted Texas and American music legends alike. This quintessential Texas Honky Tonk has hosted such legendary performers as Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, B.B. King, Little Richard and many many more. Known by many as the musical “birthplace” of Willie Nelson, Willie immortalized John T. Floore in his hit recording “Shotgun Willie”. John T. Floore and Wille Nelson were partners in the original Willie Nelson Music Company. In the March 2001 issue of Texas Monthly, John T. Floore Country Store was listed as one of the “50 Things Every Texan Should Do”

Opened in 1942 by Mr. John T. Floore, himself, John T. Floore Country Store was not a store at all, but a unique Texas Dance Hall and Cafe. Floore’s, long renowned for its world famous tamales and homemade bread, offers a full menu of great “Texas Cafe” style food, ice cold beer and and truly unique “Texccentric” atmosphere.

For those curious, here's our travel plans for Thursday. We ride out at 0500 Thursday morning with a couple of stops with 'purpose' along the way. Friday morning we'll be hitting the yards prior to making the trek to the host hotel and/or possibly meeting up with Shermans caravan.

I'm in the market for interesting steering wheels for an e34 and/or an e23. PM me if you've got something and will be there on early Friday.

\yawn

Been a late night tying up a few loose ends & points of concern on the 745, but all lights appear to be green!

**parts request***

If someone has a spare m30 water pump pulley that is NOT the larger one that came on the early m30 cars, I'd be interested.

I think tonight Troy & myself get the last man standing award!

For those of you asking about a high pressure car wash, there's one down the street just past the police station. Make a right at the next main intersection and you'l be right there.
