HOT DAMN... Look what I found.
The
Rolling the Twisties 2012 website is up and running.
You coming?
That's what these cars were made for, remember?

Just remembered, you've got to
register before answering the poll question.
I've not heard back yet, fingers crossed.
Well I guess a "No" can go ahead and answer.

Lets just say I'm geographically challenged.
At least for this.
In other words, no, I won't be there.
Of course they're still common enough a day doesn't go by that I don't see an E28, so there is something to be said for the location.

GAH! I have to re-register and be approved again? I could be in trouble here. I've re-upped but... I wonder if I was good enough to make it a second time >>>Sweating bullets here.

Oops, looks like I jumped the gun on the poll. I'll be there in one of my two E28's pending approval.

I "re-registered", but no approval yet.
Hope somebody's manning the RTT booth tonight.
I'm pretty confident I'll get approved.
If not, where would all the fun video footage come from if one of my cars wasn't there.
BTW, hoping to be back in the E12 this year.
Got some work to do first though.

See, seniority has it's perks here. I have every confidence my non registration status won't change with any approval committee.
Or to quote Groucho Marx,
I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member

Mike, the course is so complex, that every car should have a co-driver to navigate. You could fly in and co drive.

The GF and I will, pending my vacation time getting approved for that week.
She should be (hopefully) sporting a red 535is, and I in my Delphin 535 w/b35.

School policy states I cannot take leave just before or just after a holiday.
I guess I could be sick for a week?

I'd be sick if I worked under those restrictions.
Seriously...

Sucks. I may already have to bullshit my way through just to get to V@V at a decent hour on Friday. We plan to leave out with the Tidewater 02 Gruppe.

I'm not positive how much of the route I'll be able to do. It depends on which direction it takes on the first day. If north, I can do a day or two. If south, probably can't do any.

I'm still not allowed out of NC. Not to mention folks seem to frown on my drifting.

Does anyone else still have their RTT '11 sticker still on their back window?
I haven't decided if it's more because of laziness or because I like it.
